A good butcher block is kitchen furniture as much as a cutting surface — something that can live on the counter and still look intentional. These handcrafted butcher blocks are built to order at Central Texas Studio in maple or walnut, in face, edge, or end grain, so you can choose the look and work style you prefer.
Maple stays bright and work-ready; walnut brings richer contrast. Each block measures 24 x 12 x 1.75 in and is made in Georgetown, TX (Austin area) with a typical lead time of about four weeks from order to ready. They’re meant for home cooks who want solid hardwood under the knife, not a thin board that warps after a season.
Choose the grain orientation that matches how you cook and how your kitchen looks, then let the wood do the rest.
Email sales@centraltxstudio.com for other woods, sizes, or custom orders.
