Terms of Service

Effective date: October 23, 2026

These terms apply to purchases from and use of www.centraltxstudio.com, operated by Central Texas Studio LLC, Georgetown, Texas. By placing an order or using the site, you agree to these terms. Please also read our Shipping & Delivery, Returns & Refunds, and Privacy Policy pages, which are part of these terms. If anything here seems to differ from the Shipping & Delivery or Returns & Refunds pages, those pages control.

What we sell

Custom furniture: Coffee Table, C Table, and Boot Bench. Built to order in about 4 weeks.
Small wood items: Butcher Blocks, Elevated Butcher Block, Western and Hill Country Hat Racks, Jacket Rack, and Epoxy Serving Tray.
Fine art prints: our own photography, made to order by our print lab.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm the order by email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example when a product is unavailable, there's a pricing error, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel after you've paid, we'll refund you in full. For custom sizes or details beyond the options on a product page, email us before ordering so we can confirm what's possible.

Pricing and errors

All prices are in U.S. dollars. We work to keep prices and descriptions accurate. If an item is listed at an incorrect price because of an error, we'll contact you before we fulfill the order. You can then go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. Prices may change at any time, but a change won't affect an order we've already confirmed.

Payment and taxes

Payment is due at checkout and is processed securely through our Squarespace checkout by Stripe. Any pay-later options shown at checkout are provided by their own companies under their own terms. Applicable sales tax is calculated and added at checkout.

Shipping, pickup, and delivery

Full details are on our Shipping & Delivery page. In summary:
- Fine art prints: free shipping anywhere in the USA. They ship in about 7 days, direct from our print lab.
- Small wood items: built to order in about 4 weeks, then ship via UPS Ground. The rate is calculated at checkout based on size and weight.
- Custom furniture: made to order in about 4 weeks. Choose free local pickup in the Austin, TX area, or paid delivery within 100 miles. Custom furniture does not ship. We'll email you to arrange pickup or delivery once your piece is ready.
All times are estimates, not guarantees. If we expect a significant delay, we'll let you know.

Returns, reprints, and repairs

Full details are on our Returns & Refunds page. In summary:
- Fine art prints: each print is made to order, so we can't accept returns. If your print arrives damaged or defective, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we'll reprint it for free. Please include your order number and a photo of the issue.
- Small wood items: return any unused item within 30 days of delivery. The buyer pays return shipping. We'll refund the item price once it arrives back to us in its original condition.
- Custom furniture: these pieces are built to order and are final sale. If you find damage at pickup or delivery, let us know right away and we'll repair it.

Custom and built-to-order furniture

Custom furniture is built for you after you order, which is why it is final sale (see above). Please check the size, wood, and finish options before ordering. When you pick up your piece or receive delivery, look it over and tell us right away about any damage so we can repair it.

Natural wood, finishes, and care

Every piece is handmade from solid hardwood, so no two are identical. Grain, color, knots, and figure will vary from the photos, and wood may darken or mellow over time. Exact size and shape can vary slightly on handmade items. These natural variations are not defects. Wood also moves with humidity, so to keep your piece looking its best:
- keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from heat sources
- wipe up spills promptly and use coasters and trivets
- hand-wash butcher blocks and serving trays, dry them right away, and never soak them or put them in the dishwasher
- re-oil butcher blocks periodically with a food-safe mineral oil or board conditioner
Screen settings affect how colors look in photos of both prints and wood.

Photographs, prints, and intellectual property

All photographs, prints, text, and images on this site are © Central Texas Studio LLC. Buying a print gets you that physical print for personal display. It does not transfer any copyright or reproduction rights. You may not copy, scan, reproduce, resell as reproductions, or use our images commercially without our written permission. Sharing a photo of your print in your home on social media is welcome; please tag @central_tx_studio.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Central Texas Studio's total liability for any claim related to a product or this site is limited to the amount you paid for that product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under law that can't be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Williamson County, Texas.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here, with its effective date, applies to orders placed after that date.
